The Blessed and Boundless God2

The writer’s aim is to show there is no one among the highest and holiest in heaven or earth like God. The most excellent beings fall infinitely short of the Being of beings. Not only is He excellent in His being and attributes, but also in His works and words.

These truths are then applied to show us the wonder and confidence we can have in the provision and grace of such a boundless God. We see the necessity to worship and adore such a God. We are reminded how great and foolish sin is when it is committed against such an excellent and perfect being.

Here are simple and yet deep things that will fill the soul with joy and amazement and bring one to greater devotion and worship.

This book would be a lovely source of daily readings – reading through and mediating upon the content of each of the 45 short chapters would bring an invaluable blessing to the soul.

The book is convenient in size and not intimidating in length. It has been edited – smoothing out difficult language from a bygone era, whilst retaining the clarity and insight of the writers thought and Biblical instruction.

A lovely gift for one Christian to give to another to encourage them along the way.
